The Banana Hut Restaurant Redwood Acres Turf Club 3750 Harris Street Eureka, CA 95503 Public invited! Come learn about our program. Become informed and involved! Future Membership Meetings will be the second Saturday of the month ******************************************** TBA HRHR Share Day Redwood Acres Fair (Attend any or all of the following) 10 AM – noon Covered Arena Demonstration Watch Duane evaluate and address issues (spooking, nervousness, etc) with a member's horse. Noon - 1 PM Membership Meeting Banana Hut Restaurant in the Turf Club across from the arena. Come and learn about HRHR, volunteer opportunities and upcoming programs. Be a part of the HRHR Team! No host lunch, if desired. 1 PM - 2 PM Volunteer Work Party Donate an hour of your time to help HRHR volunteers complete a needed project. This month we will level the gravel in the pens and fold brochures. Bring work gloves and garden tools, if you have them. Free for all members! Dress warm ********************************************************** Upcoming Clinics: Postponed As you can imagine, life at Heart of the Redwoods has become time intensive, therefore we feel in the best interest of the horses, we are going to postpone the clinic that was scheduled on April 12th. We will announce the new clinic date once it has been set. Community Education Series Horsemanship 1 Clinic (2 separate sessions) 9 AM - Noon 1 PM - 4 PM Participants: $50 for non members $25.00 for members Auditors: $25 for non members Free for members Space is limited for participants. The Farm Store provides this event to benefit the area animal welfare organizations. HRHR will be working a food booth, providing a dog wash ($10) and pony rides ($10 includes ride and souvenir photo) The day will also include pet micro chipping, pet photographers, demonstrations in horse handling, dog obedience, etc. Watch this site for more information! |
